The Lyre of Ur

Almost 5000 years old the Lyre of Ur commonly known as the Harp of Ur is truly the oldest wonder of the world of music.
The project we have set ourselves is no less than the recreation of a well loved Iraqi Harp of Ur, also known as the Golden Lyre of Ur last played almost 5000 years ago in the city of Ur.

We aim to reconstruct an authentic playable model of the Lyre of Ur, and rebuild the Harp of Ur. Ancient Harp from Ur. In ancient times the harp was played with the hand while walking. In ancient times the harp was played with the hand while walking. Some of the oldest carvings of harps were discovered in Phoenicia with marble harp statuettes found dating back to 3000. مشروع قيثارة اور التاريخية: عمل نسخة عازفة وقريبة من الاصل لقيثارة اور الذهبية. ويعود تاريخ القيثارة الى ما يقرب من خمسة الاف سنة مما يجعلها اقدم الة موسيقية في العالم. وقد عثر عليها في المقبرة الملكية في مدينة اور جنوب العراق.
بابل تعني (بوابة الإله) كان الفرس يطلفون عليها بابروش دولة بلاد مابين النهرين القديمة. كانت تعرف قديما ببلاد سومر وبلاد سومر أكد وكانت تقع بين نهري دجلة والفرات جنوب بغداد بالعراق. فظهرت الحضارة البابلية ما بين القرنين 18ق.م. و6 ق.م.
